Well first of all I will say this I voted for President Obama because I thought he was the better choice between the two candidates. However I was never willing to put this perfect stamp that most people have been placing on him so far. I expect surprises and disappointment after all he is human and relatively new to Washington D.C.

However I agree with the President in this instance and do not believe it should help shape anyone's opinion of him one way or the other. It was clear the purpose of the visit was a getting to know you visit, after all this is the President's press corp and they will be working closely together over the next four years.

There is a time and place for everything and the President made it clear that he was there for a specific reason. He is the President of the United States of America and that garners a certain amount of respect, regardless of freedom of the press or freedom of speech. So when the President of the United States of America respectfully ask you to hold questions until a more appropriate time then you show him that respect.
